Global Currents: Our Team of Online Fundraising Fanatics
Beverley Pomeroy - CEO
Beverley is the creator of Global Currents formerly PincGiving. Having founded Global Currents with the intention to facilitate online giving, GC continues to grow into a recognized social giving platform globally.
Beverley's community service began with a fifteen year career in private health care working for MDS Inc, formerly Metropolitan, and then Metro-McNair Laboratories. This community health care role developed her acumen not only for serving people in need, but also her strength in business management and organizational renewal. Currently, Beverley sits on the foundation board of Qmunity, BC's Queer Resource Centre, as a Director.
Beverley's journey into Not for Profit occurred when her youngest child was born with a life limiting illness and she suddenly found herself on the receiving end of philanthropy. After several years, she decided to be a part of the solution and this is when the inception of Pinc began. Pinc is about harnessing purpose and passion and Beverley has brought both to the table believing 'anything is possible'.
Beverley is available for speaking engagements and seminars on Online Fundraising, Corporate Social Responsibility, Women in Business and Philanthropy. Her honest, heart warming story of Mom to Business creator breaks down the walls of any audience while her expertise in Online Fundraising has listeners walking away armed with tangible solutions to make their own online fundraising successful.
Beverley is a Top 40 Under Forty recipient for 2009 as well as a Finalist for a Stevie Award recognized as one of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs in 2009. She has spoken at the UN Informal Regional Network, Social Media for Social Good, SXSW, Social Venture Institute and participated in the Transatlantic Forum in NY.
In her spare time, don't chuckle, she does have some...Beverley can be seen on the golf course, at the barn or scouting out the best burger and beer combo in any given city.

Jeff Golby - COO
Jeff loves the intersection of business, non profits, out of the box thinking and meaningful living. He has a passion for changing the way we think about money, non profit management and for creatively challenging the traditional 'fund raising paradigm' while using technology for good. After completing his Political Science and Commerce degree at UBC he began working in a development role for Rogers Communications.
Learning about business development while actively volunteering at a summer camp he began to see how these two worlds could benefit from more collaboration in thought and action. After leaving Rogers he began work in a full time capacity with the Camp, helping them build fund raising systems, manage their 700-person strong volunteer staff and provide kids with a life changing camping experience.
Through this, the appreciation for creative problem solving, inter disciplinary collaboration and leveraging the internet for social good grew. By accepting the role as COO for Global Currents, Jeff gets to spend time everyday engaging and empowering non profits of all shapes and sizes to amplify what they do online, while helping to provide growth and structure to a passionate, solutions orientated company.
When not scouring the internet for distractions, his free time is spent volunteering, on mountains, ski boats and coffee shops with friends and families. He'd love to take you out for coffee and can name every JJ Bean location in Vancouver. Shoot him an email at jeff@globalcurrents.org and he promises to reply :)

Sajeev has been involved with Global Currents formerly Pincgiving for four years. Over the course of those four years, Sajeev has been instrumental in the growth of our technology platform. In his new leadership role as CTO, Sajeev will no doubt play an even stronger part in the development of innovative technology for Global Currents and our clients.

When he isn't problem solving, Sajeev can be found trying to beat his high score in chess, tasting a freshly tapped craft beer or playing organized sports.
We welcome Sajeev to our team.
